The Early Bird Catches the .......Music?

There are a lot of good things about working at simpleHome. We have a great group of hard-working employees who love what they do and and work well together. We have the best clients anyone could ever wish for. And, since our office also serves as a design center for premium entertainment and smart home systems, we have a really cool, fun work environment, too.
One dilemma Team simpleHome has had to deal with is that we don't all have the same taste when it comes to music. However, by employing a little creativity and technology, we came up with what we think is a good, fair solution to this challenge.
At simpleHome, we practice what we preach when it comes to the systems we use for ourselves. Each employee has his or her own code that he or she uses to unlock the door to our design center/office. In addition to unlocking the door, entering the code sets the office control systems specific to that person's preferences. The lights go on to the preferred scenes, the temperature is set to the proper level, the alarm system is disarmed, and lastly, the music is set to the preference of that person.
As you can imagine, there is a pretty good motivation to be the first person in to work in the morning! We have an agreement amongst ourselves; the first person in the office dicates the music for the day. I've witness many groans from my colleagues on the days that I was the first one in. I happen to like classical music while I work. That's not too bad, but opera at two in the afternoon sets some people over the edge.
Don't worry about anybody at simpleHome suffering too much, though....we all have really nice headphones.
