Another Benefit of a Smart Home: Helping Children with Autism

We often think of using smart home technology as a tool to add convenience, comfort and safety to our homes. While true, it is also true that smart home (or home automation) technology can make a huge, positive difference in the daily lives of families that include a member with special needs.
In this video, one family shares their story of how the Control 4 system integrated into their home helps them and their autistic son. The system, which includes an iPad contol interface that their son almost immediately mastered, helps the family communicate and interact much more effectively.
As the mom sums it up, "I don't know what we'd do without our Control 4 system!"
