What's a Flex Room? - Think of it as a Media Room on Steroids

It used to be that homeowners reserved video projector systems for their dedicated home theater. In their multi-purpose media/family room, most folks liked to have a nice flat screen TV on the wall to meet the television and movie watching needs of that space. However, as projectors continue to improve, become brighter and have quieter fans cooling them, more and more people are opting for projector systems in their family/media room.
As a result of this trend, those of us involved in the home entertainment business needed a new name for this type of space. Hence, the birth of the term "flex room." So far, the flex room is off to a great start. Let's just say that our clients who have them love them. Whether they are watching a big game or a blockbuster movie, playing a game of pool, or just hanging out with family and friends, the big screen enhances the kick-back and chill-out vibe of the space. Long live the flex room!
